The
Cavendish, Kingston and Salisbury engineered hardwood
external French door kits complete with double glazing,
locks and frames
The
VU-Fold and JA Folding Sliding engineered Oak folding
external door kit complete with low E double glazing,
hardware and frame.
The hardwood
(Meranti) French door kit is made up off the frame,
double glazed doors, up to the latest regulations (Low
E) and all the hardware, (the Kingston range do not
come with hinges). They are supplied with a base coat
of stain, so weather treatment prior to instalation
is essential.
The VU-Folding
door kits are engineered Oak frames with Low E double
glazed units. Fitting instructions and hardware is included.
They are supplied pre-finished ready for installation.
Note – the
clear finishes offer less UV protection than Sikkens
woodstain or paint finishes, which have more pigment
and therefore protection against UV, so the clear sets
require re coating more regularly than the woodstain
and paint, to maintain the protection of your Vufold.
Average re-coating every 12 months depending on set
location. If longer maintenance schedules are preferred,
re coat with any colour from the Sikkens Filter 7 Translucent
range.
We suggest
additional treatment and finishing may be required at
least
once a year or sooner if there is any indication of
deterioration in the
wood protective finish used.
